A2OC Site Upgrade

I'm not seeing the gallery pictures anymore either - is this a teething issue or is my software needing updated?
 
Hi - there's an issue this side I need to fix - should be working again in an hour or so...
 
Should be sorted now. Let me know if you spot any other funnies. I need to fix some rendering issues in IE - however I'd suggest using Firefox/Safari/Chrome/lastest IE9 in preference to earlier IE - as the site looks better in them.

(For the techies - it was an obscure compilation bug in the new php build causing iconv to segfault - but only affected IE/Safari/Chrome).

I'm also planning on the old gallery migration at some point - but need to finish writing the migration script first!
 
Hi Ben thanks for your hard work in sorting the teething probs ---my imput so far is i like the new look but on ie8 i'm not getting the gallery (i can see your working on this) also on the iphone the navigation is very poor in as much that the pages seem to get stuck ,so going back a page does nothing other than eventually confusing and locking up.

I sometimes access the website on my Blackberry. I can see how to get to the forum page but can not see anyway to access "new posts". Am I doing something wrong?

The original Gallery will be migrated over to user albums when I get time to finish this bit - probably next weekend now.

Will try out the new iPhone theme a bit more - it's provided by the makers of the forum software - so will feedback any issues direct with them.

Does it render the new mobile theme? If so, then there's no new-posts function atm. Hopefully this will come in due course. Alternatively you might be able to try the beta Tapatalk client for Blackberry:

Yes it does render the mobile theme but as you say no New Post function. Loaded Tapatalk on BB. Like the feel of it but no New Post function there either but it seems easier to use.
 
Sorry to waste your time, it's prob just me, but on the old site I could go into my profile, click statistics (I think) click all posts (I think) and I could track anything I had replied to. Now all I can see is visitor messages, everything else says no posts. Tried to ask this as a new thread and as a visitor message to no avail. It will be interesting to see if this one comes up. Thanks Ben from a Techno idiot.
 
You will find this part on the left hand side now under your profile picture on your profile page , looks like they've opened it so you don't have to search for it

Hi Colin. I you click user CP on home screen you should be taken to Settings page. With My messages and my settings down the left hand side. On the right will be your subscribed threads with new posts.

There is a box underneath the last new post saying"View all subscribed threads" click on this and it should bring up all threads you have posted on.

I hope this makes sence.

Thanks David, managed to access my very latest threads and posts. Just cant find any older ones so if someone has replied and thought I didn't think it worth answering its because I cant find them. Im sure I will manage to bore the pants off you all sooner or later. Just found a nice dipstick one to add my twopenn'orth to. Just had 2 teeth pulled at hosp, 7 stiches, my so called friends said hope they were in your lips. Cheers Colin.
 
Hi Colin. Ouch I had compacted wisdom teeth and had them removed so feel your pain.

Its me again. I can reply to threads, and I think I have inadvertently sent you a post about dipsticks that I meant as a new thread, but now cannot work out how to start a new thread. If only I was 9 again I could prob sort it. Regards Colin.
 
No prob Colin,

To start a new thread, click on forum on top left of home page. This will bring up all the sections. Then click on the group you want to start a new thead on. General,Fuels modifications Ect when you click on the group you want it will show all the threads in that group. On the top left there is a button that says "+post new thread" click on that and away you go.
