Advice Please About Buying an A2

.....or in fairness to the "dealer" it could purely be down to the fact that its around £1000 overpriced. :)

Yes saw that one, I assumed it was cheaper due to the colour

I'd be delighted to get one like this for £1500, from the photos at least it looks a lot cleaner than the 'import' which, together with the better spec would merit an extra £500 or so over the 'imports' £2k asking price??

Just be aware that dealers rarely knock £50 off

They would rather let the car sit for months...

Private sellers are a lot better for haggling!

I've had two instances recently where I've enquirer about cars and then the price has gone up on the website. Hmm, won't be calling back. It wasn't A2s

Same here, went to see one locally last year... Got there and the price was put up and 'not negotiable'

Tbh, i would only buy an A2 from a dealer if its a rare high spec car at a reasonable price.

They buy them straight from the auction and add an extra grand! Just see if theres any going through your local auction, but make sure you know what your buying...

Mines a cherry red colour and it looks better in "the flesh". Photos dont really do it justice :)

Good call on the auctions. Hadn't thought of that, so will have a nose.

I completely agree with this which was why I was impressed to get £200 off from a dealer when I haggled on my A2 last week
