Hi All, this might be obvious for some, but I have now seen this twice in three weeks!
You should NOT remove the foam located in the boot behind the battery! this is there for safety, in case of a rear shunt, this will absorb the impact and protect the battery to stop it being damaged by splitting or shorting type of damage. If this is removed then you could cause more damage, than the shunt could have caused in the first place.
Please check your A2's boot and if the foam has been removed (maybe by the previous owner) then get a replacement and fit it asap.
