Well, join the club then - I have NO IDEA. I call it "aluminium pack" because that once was the name the dealers gave it. I think it then became Sport and S-Line, depending on year.
I was able to find some part numbers for it, though. Remember that these parts need the colour codes 1K5 for matt alu 2000-2002 and 3Q7 for alu 05/2002-2005.
Ring for brake lever: 8Z0 711 330 A
Button for brake lever: 8Z0 711 333 A
Ring for passenger handle on dashboard: 8Z0 857 326 1K5 or 8Z0 857 326 A 3Q7
Glovebox latch: 8Z1 857 149 A 1K5 or 8Z1 857 149 B 3Q7 (LHD, as in Belgium and Portugal)
Ring for gearbox (manual): 8Z0 863 279 F 3Q7 or 8Z0 863 279 D 1K5
Still missing:
Instrument cluster front cover with alu rings (you're right, I can only find the part for the whole cluster, not the cover alone) - heck, then might as well get one with full DIS!
8Z0 920 930 NX - "aludesign with FIS diesel engine"
8Z0 920 930 PX - "aludesign with FIS otto engine"
8Z0 920 930 QX - "aludesign with FIS 1.2TDI"
8Z0 920 980 JX - "aludesign with FIS diesel engine MPH"
8Z0 920 980 KX - "aludesign with FIS otto engine MPH"
These clusters need someone to code them - don't know if, since it seems to involve the imobilizer, it really needs to be done by a dealer. A lot easier would be to go around the salvage yards and try to scrounge a good one, and remove the plastic cover into your current cluster - this cover just seems to not be available from Audi.
And the A3/A4/A5/A6 only have to pay 5 pounds to get alu rings from eBay. AFAIK, there's no such option for the A2.
Inserts on door handles (front and back, left and right) - The whole door panel needs to be replaced to get it. So it's 4 door panels + fitting which could become a bit expensive...
