Hi Everyone

I am new to the A2 owners club although I have driven my Son's A2 tdi, I have now got myself an A2 tdi , it drives fine but has this fault as stated in the title, ABS and ESP.

I have hooked up a cheepo OBD lead purchased fron Ebay to my laptop which has the free Ross-Tech Diagnostic version of their software . The following codes were recorded on that software.

fault codes (17564- P1156 intermittent) manifold pressure sensor G71

fault code (17569-P1161) manifold Temp Sensor.

fault code = ABS but no reference .

fault code (01314 ) engine control module.

I have basic electrical, engineering, mechanical and gardening skills so I would be thankful of any input from Club members.

I have been round the WWW from Ross-Tech to Bentley's References to Youtube , Moscow OSS remedy to Worthing Audi to Autohaus Rinner De for a fix to the Opensky, no hurry for that as the Sun and good weather is not likely to return to Glasgow before 2020.

I currently drive a VW Sharan 1.9 tdi PD 115bhp with 165.000 miles , my previous car I had for 18 years and was a VW Passat B4 tdi 90 bhp with 370.000 miles DAS Awesome.
 
I had same, on my Tdi, steering wheel out of alignment, causing yaw and steering wheel sensors to conflict. Tracked correctly, cured! Hope this helps! si.
 
Many Thanks Sidog for your time and past remedy result info, tell me do I need a specialist Audi Garage or can Kwik Fit or National perform this service?.
 
Fixed ABS & ESP warning on dash. Would you believe it was the INTERCOOLER sensor connection plug had come off after a new radiator had been fitted by some Gardener, myself, just strange that it displayed all those codes and lights on the dash.
 
Its great that you posted the result. Many who look for help on here then don't bother to inform of the outcome...
 
Hank, I would like to treat the forum as if I am an old wife, in my case an old man and passing down an old tale or remedy for others with A2's, I am just flummoxed at why it would through up those codes on that Ross-Tec free software , any way I am delighted at the fix , I was just lucky I spotted the plug was out and if someone else can have a similar fix if those lights come on , GREAT.
