AMF Oil pick up "o" ring

whilst changing the oil pump chain i needed to remove the sump baffle moulding, The local audi dealer can not find a part number for the oil pick up connection "o" ring between the baffle and oil pump. has anyone managed to get this "o" ring ? or have a part number ?

Yep I had the same problem - never managed to track down that O ring part number. Seemed in good condition so I left it alone in the end!

I've not seen a tdi engine in bits but the parts diagms don't show a conventional suction tube and there is not enough detail to see if its integral with the balancer frame or sump baffle.

The illustration of the oil pump seems totally inaccurate so if the quoted sizes roughly match - best guess, the offending O.ring is item 2 - https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+a2/a2/2003-248/1/115-115030/

Thanks Spike, i have ordered that O ring in case it's the correct one, it's in the wrong place but you never know. 2.4mm is the size on the dealer system.
 
The workshop manual shows it clearly (item 10) but as Spike says the parts diagram seems to be nothing like.

ok, the other o ring displayed fits, i have yet to start the car and check all is ok as the water pump is showing signs of leaking despite being just over a year old... another trip to the parts department... The old chain compared with the new.

The O ring is number 2 in the parts diagram spike linked to, it's just not shown in the right place or it's the same as this one
