I seem to have bought another A2, well the wife made a offer on this 52 reg A2 fsi sport without telling me, it was for sale 9 miles from us at looe, It had been on facebook for a few weeks for £350 it has a water leak at rear of engine and the owner gave up, its had the cam belt changed and four bosch coil packs fitted and drop links and two new tyres last November, 110.000 miles service book stamped up to date and has dis, mot until November 17,
We towed it home Thursday got it for £250, now the fun starts find the water leak, the engine runs nice, I have just put a four post lift up in the back garden so that will help working on my cars to old for the pit,
I think the fsi hp is the same as my 1979 escort mk2 RS2000 which I bought when 10 months old and still have.
