Looks good, where did you source the LED from? Mixed reports from others that have done this mod so will be interesting to see how well it lasts.

Hi,

I hope it works out for you but when I tried this same option the LEDs failed in several places after a very short period of time.

I did like the way these switch to amber to act as an indicator as well.

If you have found a different supplier of these that does not have that problem then that will be great.

I do like the "tube of light" appearance of these so I would pay a lot if these are now better quality.

Thanks got them from ebay had them for almost a year just getting round to doing the job.

Looks almost exactly like my mod, here .... http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?25642-Flexible-DRL-s-progress! My DRL's partly failed very rapidly. Only the indicator function has continued to work correctly. I'd need to know that a future strip was far more robust before I considered replacement.

Ye but I have cut a channel in the silver part of the light and I have glued in light strip from behind so there are no clips on show.
