Hello Norton ES2.
I gather from what you say that you are keen on bikes, and once rode an ES2.
Well, we have a shared interest!. I've loved bikes since I first started riding in 1963, and was lucky enough to work in the motorcycle industry for 18 years up to Dec 2000. And for 14 of those magic years was paid to ride Nortons, namely ****els-(sometimes up to 900 miles a day!- actually 1 day a mate and I did 1002 miles)very underated bikes.
The passion of my motorcycling life is taken care of by 2 Norton Rotaries ( 1 Air Cooled and 1 Water Cooled ). I've owned other makes, mostly BMW's, but the Rotaries are my Ist love!.
You're thinking of taking up riding again ?,well do it while you still can! I had to stop riding in Aug 2000, due to illness and wondered if my riding days were over, but was lucky ( in more ways than one ) and got back on my bikes in May 2002-- wonderful!!!. And now I've got an A2 as well, which is brilliant. Aint life great!!
Regards JohnW. 2002 Tdi SE. Sounds like a Hinkley Tripple.
