Anyone fitted the 1.2tdi aero bits yet?.....

Is it worth getting some winglets for my 1.2, I wonder? I think the previous owner must have discarded them!

can somebody post up the part numbers for the winglets, tunnel cover, and spoiler and bits to fit, i have seen the thread but cannot find it anymore:rolleyes:I hope to order before the VAT goes back up.
Thanks

So have fixed the exhaust rattling against the tunnel cover - one of the exhaust mountings was a little on the low side so gave it a bit of a bit of torque and raised it up a bit. Also slightly flattened the edges of the tunnel cover cowling where it is closest to the exhaust just to give it a bit more room. Let's hope that does the trick.

Will hold off fitting the subframe spoiler until such a time as I can get a drill into the right position for the middle hole behind the exhaust.

Just had a thought.
The 1.2TDi as some of the front air intakes blocked out doesn't it for improved aero?
Has anybody experimented with doing the same on the 1.4TDi? Even just in winter?

Dan,

Looking at my 1.2 today with the undertray removed, I doubt that there is any difference between a 1.2 and a 1.4. There is no blanking of the grill under the 'bumper'. The Lupo 3L (and FSI) do have the top part of the 'grill' blanked off but all A2's are alike in this respect.
