Hi does anybody have a link to the correct stereo removal keys for Symphony head unit? I bought the generic ones on eabay but they dont work and nearly shred your finger trying. thanks in advance

I bought these on Amazon 2 years ago and they work. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018GKO6OQ I paid £6 but now they are £18!
Evening Alan,

Ive used aftermarket stereo removal keys in the past and they can fail after a few times. You only know they've failed (worn down) when you need them most which is frustrating. A set of 4 factory keys direct from Audi is £12.

Get in touch with Tom @CreweAudi.

Edit: Just noticed you've already followed Dave's @Dave M advice. Nice work.

Kind regards,

Tom

I was going to buy some of the release keys ... until I realised a jubilee clip of the appropriate width for the slot works surprisingly well to remove my Concert 2

The genuine keys ( and some aftermarket ones ) not only release the lock but are then themselves locked into the stereo to make the removal easy. Keys are then released before the stereo is refitted / replaced.

I have seen it done with shim steel and even feeler gauges in the past..
