Anyone have experience with vinyl wrapping?

I'm thinking of wrapping my A2, it's currently crystal blue, which I really don't like much. Otherwise it's in great condition.
Has anyone had a vehicle wrapped with vinyl? How was the finish? What was the cost?

a friend of mine has had a golf r wrapped. the finish really depends on who does it but it did look good. went from the purpley blue colour to matt gold.
im considering wrapping parts of mine - kinda like a reverse colour storm
