Chat Anything to worry about?

I have a 1.6 FSI with 67k on clock. Today my brake/abs symbol came on with the red circle flashing as I started the car. Thinking it was just a glitch, I turned off engine and restarted after a few minutes, but was still the same. Checked brake fluid level and is above the minimum, but certainly not to the maximum level. Havent had chance to pop out and get some more DOT4 to top up today. It is just this light still on the dash. Has anyone else had this problem to advise on the best solution? Thanks James.

if it doesn't go out after a restart, then a scan is the best starting point. Everything else is just guessing.

I have topped up with DOT4 today and the light has gone off concerning the ABS/brakes. Hopefully this has is all the problem was. Thank you for your advice. My car is booked in next week to check out the electrics with a scan and hopefully nothing will be found! I will monitor more carefully from now on the levels to make sure things are as they should be!
