Happy happy days!! Had the chain done in the week as my little baby has reached 151000 miles!
Very happy as the old chain tensioner was still in good condition, just slight wear on the cogs… makes me think this little engine has been well and truly looked after!
Here’s to the next 150000 miles!

Many thanks to Rob at Aberdare motor repairs, this guy is truly a fountain of A2 knowledge and was recommended by @A2Steve (thanks again dude)

Now it’s time for a complete suspension overhaul ?

Does the engine sound any different or was it purely preventative maintenance? Did you fit genuine parts?

Once Alison's bits were changed, I noticed the odd resonance under load between 2,200 and 3,200 rpm disappeared.

At tickover, I'm not sure as the Alternator clutch and drive belt, Tensioners and Pulley was worn and also replaced.

Well worth getting it done!
