To create a pol you click on the short dotted line at the top of your first post and you get the option there

You then get this

Unfortunately you only have a single DIN dash and the RNSE is designed for a double DIN dash. Not a simple job to convert it then.

So RNSE is my preference but not if it involves replacing the dash.

Yes, mine is single DIN but if i decide to do RNS-E upgrade, is there no way i cd keep the existing dash and retrofit nicely? or is it just not doable? anybody done it?

2 options you have I believe regards double din conversion.

Option 1, as I did get a double din dashboard and swap it over.. yes it’s a mission but is do able..allowing RNSE to be fitted as it was the OEM look I was after.

Option 2, take out your original dash do some chopping and cutting to fit a double din “cage” to your original dash also allowing the above.. there is a cage for sale in the market as present.

My option would be the DD conversion and RNSE as I have done the Becker doesn’t look great with the little spacers eitherside IMHO.

Thanks guys for your inputs. :)
now i have little innocent requirements that the head unit should have for me...updated satnav, tmc, dab, swc, rear cam, voice command etc... hehe
btw can RNS-E be paired with my existing cd changer?
Still tryin to dig posts about hou is double din cage fitted if doing DD conversion, is it dash out job?
