Yes and this 50k car will be very collectable in the future if mileage kept lowish.
That’s the plan. I’m now working from the office one day a week and it’s 18 miles away ?

Responding well to a quick machine polish this morning.
Although the votes are pointing to Dune 2, I haven’t clicked the button yet to buy the bits
Eight previous, last recorded keeper change in January this year. Mileage consistant other than a random 148,000 which was quickly corrected.
Everything else clear, it's running original reg number and not had a private plate.
I can see why you were thinking of modding: it's like the Devon car, a good usable and interesting modern classic / starter A2, but it's not going to turn into a three owner, fully historied car in the future. Good one just to use and enjoy.
Got a pic of the inside Steve?
MOT history had long period of passes and then it went a bit downhill.
Was off the road from late 2015 to late 2019.
Current ticket to September 20.
Nice colour and spec, definitely keep it standard, interior will respond well to a valet (those look like original OEM Platinum carpet mats, NLA from Audi as I understand it) and with your mechanical Midas touch you have a really nice motor for someone for not much money with some margin in it for you.

love the spider wheelsIt’s part service history, about 6 stamps I think, quite a bit of paperwork, Timing belt done 10k miles ago.
I’m waiting on the logbook to know owners and haven’t hpi’d it.
I’ve got a set of 17s on the breaker that’s arriving next week, but they are Skoda octavia spiders and in bronze.
Looks a cracker Steve ? a credit to you.
