On a more serious note, if anyone ever does feel that they want to fit seat covers, please remember one very important safety aspect.
You have side airbags built into the seats and even top quality seat covers might hamper that operation.
Some seat covers are advertised as being compatible with the airbags, but when you think about what is happening, that makes me wonder.
If the air bag needs to deploy it has to break through or force off the plastic cover on the side of the seat, then it will have to break through the seat cover. If that seat cover has a special weak seam or area then it has to also break through that. This adds a delay, perhaps a vital delay.
But that is only if the seat cover has stayed in exactly the right position, and how many seat covers stay exactly in place?
So to me, I would always rather see a worn or marked seat than an obvious cover that might impact safety.
If yours are worn or ripped you might find a set of seats to replace them for not much more than the price of "Airbag friendly" covers.
Sorry, health and safety lecture over!!!
