Brake discs?

Likewise, I've used Mintex in the past and been very happy with the fit and finish so would use them again. I've no experience with Mtec though.

drill/grooved you're going to get less surface area for braking, so you need higher friction materials on the pads to compensate. I would stick with flat surface. You won't need the 'cooling' effect of the holes, not even in track days with an A2.

One Prang and a sharp eyed insurance man would have you with no insurance.
If your going to go expensive buy Brembo ones.

Minty Mintex do warp after time but one Diesels they are usually dead discs by then anyway,as they aint as hard as they used to be :p

I sourced Brembo discs myself, but weren't all that expensive at 70E the set. The original Audi or Ate ones would have set me back more. :)
I also went for Ferodo TQ pads, anyone tried them?
Haven't got the time yet to fit them, maybe today if the weather is nice.
