I still have an intermittent noise associated with braking at slow speeds (usually from cold and 'wears' off after a while) and I am convinced it is coming from the rear (the front pads are only 6 months 8k miles old). Although the noise frequency seems to be lessening of late (dry weather - is it due to overnight corrosion in wet weather?) I am pondering replacing the drums and shoes albeit the shoes are probably only 35-40% worn and try and kill the sound off for good. I have the new shoes (Pagid) but wondered what brand I should buy for the drums? I might as well do the job when swapping the wheels to summer set up in a couple of weeks or so.
