hi, I'm after some help, pulled onto the drive the other night and put foot on the brake and the front wheel seemed to skid I thought maybe it was some gravel on the road so ignored it.
The other half went to work the next day and rang in a panic saying that when she braked there was a loud banging from the front and it felt like the ABS was cutting in.
So I changed the disks and pads (they were due soon anyway) and the bangings not as bad, its almost as tho the ABS wants to cut in at all speeds, after having a hunt through here I will check the speed sensors and the cables to them but wondered if anyone had any other ideas. If i've missed anything important just ask.
Its a 2001 Y reg 1.4TDi with 150,000 miles on the clock.
