Some good guesses there...I did consider the pedal car, but there's nowhere to put my laptop!
All will be revealed after the test drive on Friday!

C2 cheaper to run. Mind you so is the Fiat Panda - and its a good drive. I am looking for 'er indoors at the mo. I reckon a Lupo won't go amiss either.

Nah... can't be a Lupo - there's nowhere for the laptop there, either [2] And you wouldn't want your rear crumple zone to be your children, would you?

Actually yes.

Well about 60 of the 1200 I suppose - not all of them!

[37]What sort of a person do you think I am?

A2 1.4 SE TDI replaced with A3 2.0TDI DSG, the transmission of the future - today.

Well the test drive was successful - a drive up and down the M1 and through Watford has resulted in the Corolla being part exchanged and a new car being ordered!!
Should get the new car in a week or so as they have it in stock, will post photos here when I do.
All I will say is that it is a convertible, two seater, and very noisy!

4 wheels...I'll take some pics when I get it!
My only issue now is insurance which seems to be crazily expensive - between £500-£700 !

Who do you think the cheapest insurance company is?

Started with Direct Line when I first started to drive (2 years) changed to Highway (3 years - Direct Line wouldn't insure a modified car at that time) and now... We have used Direct Line for the last 6 years, have asked for quotes from others but the nearest was £120 GBP more expensive.. and that was the RAC..

Lee and Sheridan,
TDI SE, Build 11/01, Dolphin Grey
50% Brighter Bulbs : Audi 6 CD Changer : Rear drinks holder : Floppy Wiper : Centre Tray : Elasticated Belt System : Chrome Numberplate Surround : A3 Transmission Nets : Heated Mirrors

It's normally Direct Line or Tesco for me. No other company seems to come anywhere near. The trouble is that there are so many factors that determine the final quote. It helps that I live in the sticks! with only 'bumpkins' to keep me company.

Not a new MR2! Another clue - it has twin central exhausts...and it's a NOT a mini cooper S.
Am getting it next Wednesday...very exciting!
After all this hype though you all may be very disappointed!
By the way, elehphant insurance has been the cheapest so far - almost £400 cheaper than other companies.
