CAR Magazine buying guide

Suspension Mods have been popular Due to the Crashy Nature or larger 17" wheels replaced by 14" or 15" for more sidewall for comfort or Both!
 
I have read every copy of CAR Magazine for more than 25 years, and many a superb article by the excellent Ben Barry. This month, Ben wrote a great piece on the Audi R8 RWS vs McLaren 570S. So great to see him turn up here asking for info on one of the best cars of all time. This month, CAR also has a piece on the Tesla Model 3 and references it after the Ford Model T and the Issigonis Mini. Missing the A2 out of this sequence was a big omission IMHO. Looking forward to the article, Ben.

Did anyone mention that the A2 was the only car built by Audi since the 1970’s that didn’t have a Quattro 4 wheel drive variant in the model range. What a shame as I’m sure it would have been a perfect car if it did.

I cover over 870 miles ever week & get 60mpg at motorway speeds, truly amazing considering the car had done 122,000 miles when purchased 2 1/2 years ago now at 193,000 .
