I know you don’t want to throw parts at it but I think you are at the point of needing to fit a new or known good crank sensor

Yes, I know there is more than one issue. I have a fuel filter housing coming tomorrow which may or may not help with the fuel drain. Looking at the service history one of the service receipts says "may need housing replaced at next filter change" so they maybe broke the drain screw or something.Even if you do have an injector issue that will not explain the fuel not being at the tandem pump. You say ticking over until it started to warm up. Does that mean there were issues once warm or you turned off the engine?
Hi, I replaced the loom hoping it might be that but unfortunately not.It may be worth removing the rocker cover and checking the injector loom. It generally does not trip an error. It has a very hard life being soaked in hot oil. The connectors can become loose on the injectors or the wires can break down. Replacing the loom is not expensive and may be the cause of the injector fuel quantity issue you posted above.
No dash warning lights I take it?
Have your injector values improved?Hi, I replaced the loom hoping it might be that but unfortunately not.
Injector values the same with old and brand new loom. I thought it was worth a shot. Suppose next thing to do is swap injectors round to see if problem moves with injector but ideally I'd like a spare injector to try.Have your injector values improved?
Was it a new loom or used?
Might be worth keeping hold of your old loom as connectors can be tightened
Superb!I replaced the faulty fuel injector today and the car is purring like a little tractor again. Rocker cover removal is different on our 3-pots compared to the instructions I had. VCDS shows much better values for injectors in the measuring blocks.
