Evening all. Watch out for your catalytic converters. Three nice gentlemen with masks and iron bars have just taken them off both my a2s here in Croydon.
I may be able to help out there then in that case as I’m currently breaking a TDI,Erm no one is a diesel.
If you do, it may not be too long before you are reversing your (illegal) modification!Makes me wonder if i should decat my tdi

Why? Are petrol the petrol ones targeted more?I’m guessing they are petrol A2’s?
Why? Is the cat attached to the frame or is it in close proximity that the scum will cause some damage? You need to get under the cars and see what other damage has been done. While removing the Cats they may have chopped up the space frame.
Aftermarket cats have nowhere near the same precious metal content hence their cheaper price. It's really messed up, that those vandal thieves, caused damage to both of your A2's.
Can the police say something about it?
Also I know the cats contain precious metals, which prices just keep going up, but on eBay replacement cost around £100, or are those really different ones compared to OEM cats?
In the centre just in line with beneath the drivers seat. After some Googling one tip is to park facing a wall if you can.
Is the cat on the A2 definitely at the front?
Is it at the centre or drivers side?
