Hi all,
I would like to express my sincere thanks to Tom (timmus) for the CCCU replacement and fitting service that he performed on My A2 on Saturday. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to someone who is passionate about the A2 and understands his stuff.
The diagnosis was spot on, unit swapped over and keys coded plus some other functions enabled.
The car is now performing as Mr Audi intended :)

You're very welcome, Paul. Many thanks for the positive feedback. It was a pleasure meeting you. A 20 minute CCCU replacement ended up taking nearly 2 hours simply because like-minded folk have a lot to say! :)
