CCU clicking, non starter

To close this out for now…I switched out the 1 yr old REMY starter for a Bosch one, cleaned all the grounds in that area for good measure and starts easily now!

It's unusual for the starter motor to fail, but good to hear that you have solved this issue, is the CCCU still clicking?

It is ? and the maf sensor sounds a little buzzy ? I will get some codes and investigate further. A local garage switched my atl ecu out for an amf ecu they flashed my code onto, I think I’m chasing problems caused by 6 months of driving with a mismatched ecu. I’d be interested to know what the ECU pros make of that scenario. What sort of damage could occur and if the amf has the same MAP setup.
