CD Changers - the bottom line

Does anybody have THE ultimate guide to fitting a CD changer to A2's. There seems to be conflicting views on fitting stand alone changers to the factory fit stereo and where to mount said pieces of kit.

If you look under the posts for "Driver side (UK) rear internal lining" you will see fitting instructions for the Original Audi CD changer (This is the way I did it??)

as to fitting any other CD changer the spec of your A2 determines the locations avalible..
