using the proceeds of alfies sale and a little extra we've just bought a honda civic 1.6 i-dtec. lovely car.
free road tax and - get this - on a 75 mile journey through the m4, a-roads and city traffic, averaged 84.3mpg for the journey! incredible figures really
the downside is that its a lot wider than the a2 so ive had to install rubber bump strips on next doors wall so that when i reverse on to the driveway the kids dont smash the doors in to her house
the other major downside is the lack of a support forum. there are various civic facebook pages but mostly american or typically not the model of civic i have.
i think a lot of people take the a2oc for granted but it really is a shining example of how a peer-led support forum should be run
