I have done a couple of searches on this subject, and before I take my 1.4tdi to the local Audi dealer I thought I would just ask the question.
The climate has not had to work since last year but with the warmer weather I have noticed the climate control is constantly blowing warm air.
I have done the following:
Operated the air flow controls for the three positions, all seams ok
Had the gas checked, all ok, operating at the correct pressure.
removed the pollen filter, this was dirty but made no difference whether the filter was in or out to the air flow.
When pressing the eco button so it is on, the air flow spread reduces and is not quite as warm.
On one occasion today I pressed the eco button and the air con started to work, I turned the eco button off and the air remained cold, I have not been able to replicate this since.
Any comments readily received, including a more cost effective method of repair, rather then paying dealer prices.
