Code P1031 Problem

Had this engine management light on since December and had this error code appear.

Garage has cleaned the throttle body and rescanned no code, drove home and now have the engine management light appear once again...

any ideas what to do??

This is what I found

Possible causes- Intake manifold air control valve position sensor circuit open circuit
- Intake manifold air control valve position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty intake manifold air control valve position sensor
- Intake manifold air control flap too tight or sticking

...my mechanic has told me I should change the Throttle Body Sensor?

Is this sold on its own? Would this be the likely solution?

We had same error after the head was done.
They fixed it by cleaning and freeing up the flaps

Spoke to soon....error appeared again now we have had leaks and errors fixed

Hopefully it is just the sensors

borken valve on inlet manifold

Spoke to the mechanic today and Ive now been told the valve that activates the flap on the manifold is broken...but doesnt know if the valve is sold separately?

Can this valve be brought? Otherwise its a whole new manifold
