Thanks for that - nice to hear from someone who has actually used the product - I realised it was a good product- just wanted info on primer and top coatDave, I have used it with great success. As long as the plastic to be coloured is clean and dust free and the soft touch is removed then so far I have never found a need to primer. That said if the existing paint is breaking down then I would suggest using the primer first, also if the surface is porous. If you are recolouring fabric or leather then I would use primer, the colour and then top coat. The top coat adds extra wear resistance so say on switch gear very useful. Again as yet not needed to use any top coat. Ultimately you will have to decide if either are needed for your application. You can always spray top coat on after but obviously not primer. I also do not know how well Volico paint works with other primers or top coats. Volico is trusted by OEMs.
