Actually BMW have ssen the light and now introduced the stop start system that also featurs on the 1.2 TDI Lupo and A2.

So mpg is actually better than a Prius!

But if you want a BMW diesel why not test drive the 335d?!!!

If too much money then an old 330d is not far off for fun warp factor 5! There were 2 ex police armed response ones on ebay for £7k recently
