Cost for suspension arm?

Think mine may be bent. Anyone know cost of genuine Audi front wishbone?
Are they easy to change?

oh...thats tempting!
Think mine are pressed steel.
I have a session of maintenance booked this weekend so will check.
Car is pulling to the left so I am puzzled to the cause, bent wishbone or similar is one option. Are they easy to replace?
I lent the car to my brother for a few weeks over xmas (his engine blew up on his and he was stuck). Car has pulled to the left since I got it back, but I dont want to ask him any awkward questions.

i think that our fsi's and tdi 90's have pressed arms(balljoint replacable) others have cast ones. i cant see any real problem mixing and matching--but im open to be educated. could it be that the sub frame has shifted across the car?
hope you get it sorted swiftly and cheeply mike

could be subframe...dunno!
I took it to a garage near work in Harrogate a few weeks ago and if anything they made it worse (despite their laser alignment). I am giving tHem another chance next week before I take it to Awsome gti (who are ace and trusted completely!).
Will have a look for bent bits this weekend, ideally if there are any would like to replace myself and then use a gsrage for final tracking tweaks.

Not done the job myself but I think front wishbones should be easy to replace, assuming none of the bolts have rusted up. Check the steering rack tie rod is not bent when you are looking for damaged parts.

ha, you'll have fun.

One of mine may be bent (I'm not sure) but since that's the last thing on my "potential problem" list, then I'll probably change these, along with the ARB. The ARB is easy to do at the same time as you'll need to drop the front subframe. Making sure it's in the right place afterwards is, I think, the biggest issue.

I'd most definitely get the rubbers front and back changed at the same time and anything else you want to get done - track rod ends, ARB, springs, droplinks - then get it all done as you'll need to get it aligned.

Cars that are pre FSI times have cast arms, after that - June 2003 IIRC - there are pressed steel ones where you can replace the balljoint seperately. The precise details are in ELSA and I don't have a copy to hand.
I'll be changing Consoles, Wishbones, rubbers and probably the ARB at the same time if I can find the parts cheaply enough.
