Hi All

I know this has been covered before, probably.

What is the definative answer with retro fitting cruise to A2

Mine is an 02 TDI SE.

I have a friend of a friend who has access one of those snazzy blue VAG computers.
Apart from the stalk, what do I need to make my A2 Cruise!

Any help would be appreciated, especially by anyone who's had there's done.

diesel or petrol?
check the wiring diagram and then:
get the switch fitted
get the connections right (there are 5, 4 to the engine black box, 1 to the brake pedal) and then login with VAGCOM.
it should cost you around €80 or so. - try www.kufatec.de. yup, the cable set's there for €70.

connector on the switch - 10-way connector, passenger footwell - Blackbox
Lenkstockschalter - 10 fach Stecker weiß - Motorsteuergerät - Querschnitt/Farbe
Pin 5 - Pin 7 - Pin 46 - 0,35 sw/ro (black / red)
Pin 2 - Pin 3 - Pin 45 - 0,35 bl/sw (blue / black)
Pin 3 - Pin 6 - Pin 44 - 0,35 bl/ro (blue / red)
Pin 4 + 7 - Pin 2 - Pin 14 - 0,35 ws (white)

Pin 6 ro/gn 0,22 auf Sicherung 31 10A (red / green) to fuse 31 - on my car this went to the brake pedal - but i have a petrol...

no, the €70 includes the switch. which retails at €35 in germany IIRC..

wiring diagram i will have to dig out...
