Cup holder color

Can someone help me?
I want to order the cupholder but iam not sure witch color i need.
Under the small storage box behind the handbrake it says 6PS.
Is this the Dark grey one or the black one?
And for someone else, what is the code: 4PK for kind of color, dark gray or black?

I found a cupholder at the dealer (in a secondhand car) and tried it in my car.
The cupholder was more black then the thing i front of it in my car.
From above the color looked like it was maching, but from the side the cupholder was more black.
My car is build 1-2004 is it possible that the color already faded, or do i need the dark grey one?
I took a picture then, but the colordifference isnt that good to see on the picture.

ok. Possible! All Cars from 06/2001 or newer have softpaintsurfaces on the Radio and the Klimatecontrol and so on. I did not thought this is on the cupholder, because also the older cars have this surface on some part from the middleconsole.

But it is possible that you need a part newer than 6/2001 (starting from Modellyear 2002). But you only can buy the newer parts. so, no problem. But I still can't beleve there is a darker black on this part. but if you have put this part into your car.. you must know.

Era, '6PS' is the colour code for 'Soul black' and the colour difference you have observed is quite usual - the colours do change subtly with age.

Having just looked the parts up on ETOS, it seems (rather bizzarrely) that the dual rear cupholders colour code for Soul Black is 4PK, wheras the Soul Black code for the little cubby holder just in front of it is 6PS!!! These are the same colours for the same model years, just for different parts.

It's no wonder people get confused is it?
