Cylinders order

Which one is cylinder number one?
I tried to
Google it and found two different answers.
One telling me its the first one on the
Right as you look at the engine from a
Front.
The another telling me its the one closest to the
Timing belt which would be left one looking at the engine.
Please tell me whats right?

1.6 fsi. Does it make a difference?
I would think that audi has the same cylinder order for all their cars and that its not engine specific. Weird
