Darn Fords

And not the cars!

Some nice person moved the measuring rod on my local ford up by a foot. Good joke!

Anyway - got a nice bow wave going on upto the front screen! Doesn't seem to be any water penetration into the cabin - but are there any points I should check for water ingress

Grrrrrr

Water ingestion by the engine would be the bigger worry! My sister lost her Citroen Xantia that way - air intake was just behind the front bumper... And a friend lost a ZX Volcane Turbodiesel (remember them?) the same way, so obviously a Citroen thing.

Having a daily drive through a Ford sounds quite pleasant to me though.

What about this?

Ford in (on?) a ford.

Or have I got mistaken as to what a ford is?

We've got a ford just up the road from us and it's amazing how often cars are stranded in it. It's only about 18" deep but there is a big drop (approx 12")just as you enter the water where the bottom has eroded away over the years. The cars then sits there with front wheels off the ground & the sills taking all the weight. Not good....
Never driven through it myself but did used to ride my cycles through it when I was a wee nipper.
