Detailed Fitting guide to replacing brake light switch?

Hi
I managed to figure out the removal of the lower panel and located the switch and after removal trotted of to eurocarparts for a replacement. After parting with just over £10, I compared the original with the replacement and was disappointed at how flimsy the shaft of the new one looked. After much deliberation I decide to dismantle the original (very easy) and clean all the contacts to see if it worked - guess what, not only was it a simple job, but it also works perfectly again... I will be returning the pattern part for a refund - nothing beats original.
