Dis conversion

Hi my A2 does not have the DIS system fitted its a 2001 1.4 tdi amf engine code , just wondered if its possible to fit a later dash pod along with correct stalk switch for the DIS . Cant belive that the wiring isnt already in the car

any thoughts appreciated

These were 2006 prices so add approx 50% for a ballpark figure

Many thanks spike for the info was only looking at trying to get an instant and average mpg fiqures as we do quite a few miles .
just a nice to have really . if i could get that just buy swopping the instrument panel with a second hand unit that would be great , not really worried about the other functions can live with out them
