The strange thing is that this error code means that the alarm horn (more of a beep than a horn) is broken or disconnected. So I can only assume that when you say that the alarm keeps going off you just mean that it is flashing the hazards, because according to the error the beeper isn’t working.got the horn comms failure as a consistent code - just comes back when I clear it....
Of course, no idea how old all the original fault codes were...
1 Fault Found:
01134 - Alarm Horn (H12)
49-00 - No Communications
If you don’t have a false floor in the boot you can probably get to the beeper by just partially undoing the side trim (drivers side). Better still if you have a cd changer in the side panel because you probably won’t need to undo anything. I am assuming that the suggestion is to disconnect the beeper? But according to VCDS your beeper isn’t working anyway. Thanks, the irony is that I've not actually witnessed the alarm going off....
Its been parked elsewhere and someone had left a message that the alarm was going off day and night!!
I've just disconnected the battery now before we go away for the week, will have to try to sort it properly when back.Thinking I'll pull the interior rear trim off and disconnect the harness as suggested by Paul - any pointers for this?CheersPete
