So as the radio is not working maybe best to upgrade to modern touch screen with Sat Nav and dab.
Unit fitted is Audi Symphony which looks like a double din unit so I am hoping a swap may be fairly straightforward?

If the Symphony is the same as a Concert II there is is a simple fuse at the back you can check. Might be as simple as that and you have a working unit while you ponder an upgrade. I do not have a symphony so can offer no guidance on removal to check, - anybody?
It just struck me that my suggestion of checking the fuse on the back of the Symphony unit was on the assumption you have checked out the radio fuse in the main fuse panel, number 2 from memory. Would not want you to waste time removing the unit needlessly.
Thanks for the suggestions. So vol button didnt look right. Pulled it off n operated spindle without. Result. For now swapped tuning knob to volume. Can tune with buttons as dont use tuner knob.
So urgency for new shiny touch screen reduced.
Anyone got a radio knob for sale?
