Drivers Door Strip Down and reflow solder of the microswitch joints

Hi,

All in i spent about 6 hours in total to strip down the door, a trip to Halfords for the spline socket to remove the door mech and reassemble. Had to take the door off the car due to one of the window frame nuts slipping into the void (and yes i just about cried at that point...). Anyway, reflowed the solder on the pcb board and stripped down the microswitch. For the first time in two years i'm now able to open the fuel flap without having to pull the magic pipe to release it, plus lights on warning noise and no cycling of the locks on startup.

I followed this video on youtube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzxGY4N6Aew, covers the door getting stripped down and the locking mech removed. I then followed this one to open the control module - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5dtdyDDgrw .

From memory, T10, T15, T20, T40, T40 multispline socket all required and plenty of patience. I numbered all the bolts and labelled the panel where the bolts came out.

Cheers
Stuart
