We had a brilliant weekend and it was great to see such a fantastic turnout of cars and lovely people. Many thanks to Steve for the organisation....much appreciated.
Just got back having stopped a few times en route - including a very convenient National Trust just as we hit the queue of slow-moving traffic on the really long bendy slow section of the A44 Fantastic weekend away, great to see/meet everyone. And most of all, many thanks Steve, a superbly executed meet and drive out
Thanks everyone for a great day, and especially Steve for making it happen, nearly 300 miles done today! I shall update my βjourney of Chadβ thread shortly
Thanks to the organisers of today's event it was great to see all the many variations of the A2. We got so many smiles as we passed people on our drive out. I love that mountain road. Thanks again!
I too would like to thank Steve for a brilliantly executed day, my face must have been a picture as I drove into the car park at 10.20, one of the last to arrive, but made all the better to see so many of them in one place. So often events like this go without praise, the thought and hard work put in by @A2Steve was second to none, I was still smiling when I got home.
Thanks again to Steve, and all those that made the day so special, met a load of new and old faces, and sure it won't be the last one that is organised. Long live the friendship and community we have built up
UPDATE: I have uploaded photos on to the Facebook group and I can share the cloud link to those not on that one. I apologise in advance for for the plethora of Colour storm photos!
After watching an episode of Autoalex on youtube this weekend, the location for next years Welsh social is decided. The Gospel pass just outside Abergavenny. The highest driving road in Wales. See you in 2024 and hope everyone enjoys the rest of the social calendar.
