Thanks Phil, I don't seem to have gotten the reminder for the updates as yet, any way I didn't realise he will be losing his back seating!, surely there was a better way to arrange the batteries to allow normal use of the seats?!

The batteries are just there as a temporary measure to check how the 'system' works and behaves, then they will be moved under the car – front and back – where there is a special housing made.
I think he does say about that in the video if you watch it again, its when he's on about the conduit under the bonnet, Sarge i didn't get the updates either just went on and it was there

Yes, didn't even think about the old petrol engine. 16 kWh of energy should however be enough for my daily commute of 110 kms on a single charge if the consumption would be somewhat equal to the Mistubishi MiEV.
