Emission warning light

The emission warning light on my 1.4 se petrol came on tonight whilst idling on a slight incline. It first it was flashing then it stayed on. After switching off and on again a few times due to my journey the light has gone out. Any ideas? The lambda switch was replaced two weeks ago as well as the throttle valves and the oil pressure switch?

Sounds like the same prob mine has. Have replaced the clutch and brake switches (slight improvement) am still waiting for the vac pipe (10 wks now) which I read somewhere can leak/cause that prob. Dont think it will ever come. Mine sounds like the choke is on when in bottom or reverse on a slight incline, and if you have to go far like it the light comes on (clears after a few days) and gives code 17566 & 18043. (18043 may relate to the pedal switches?) Cheers Colin

Thanks Colin. Did you get the codes from doing a diagnostic or is there another way of obtaining them ?
