Information Enigne conversion 1.4 petrol

Afternoon hope all is well and keeping safe!

Am after some info and knowledge, am looking to get rid of a 1.4bby and replace it with something bit more powerfull, i know the bam enigne has been done a few times, but the cost of it and it's a bit beyond my expertise!!
Iv been looking at the gti lupo 1.6 as iv herd that's been too!
Been trying to find info for days now on the theads but cant seem to find much.

Den, have a look through @Edwrai posts as he has recently got this conversion up n running.

Hi Den if you have any questions i'd be happy to help, the difference between the 1.4 and 1.6 lupo engine is huge. I converted a 1.6fsi but I also own a 1.4i and a tdi 90.
