Trying to get some information from Erwin but they only accept credit cards as far as I can see, I don't have one .....

info I'm after if anyone can help,

2001 AMF TDI

Torque of the bolt holding the driveshaft flange to the gearbox.

How you set the timing up for the balancer shaft , oil pump drive etc

i think thats the bolts that hold the drive shaft to the flange, i'm looking for the torque of the bolt holding the flange (10) to the gearbox

Actually it was a BHC but the timing chain is the same as the AMF - chain has two coloured links which you line up with notches on the crank sprocket and the balancer sprocket so pretty straight forward. @sco - that's a great link Simon. Thanks very much for passing it on. Is the information in it the same as you would get from Erwin?

I believe fundamentally it should be the same, there is a possibility that where there have been small updates these will be captured in Erwin but missed in the pdf but with the age of the car we are long past that point.
