Euro insurance

Does anyone know the cost of insurance for a monthly European tour incl Eastern Europe. My UK insurance is 270GBP. Would that cover me at all? Any ideas folks?

Check your policy - my policy with Frizzell gives me up to 30 days European cover.

Mine also gives me included Euro cover. It is free when you ask for it at the outset. Some only need to give you a green card. Others don't require that even (like mine). I'm with Zurich.

Most standard policies will give you 30 days/year free insurance for zone 1 europe. Zone 2 europe is normally eastern europe and that will cost extra. Also it's worth checking that the cover is fully comp as some will just offer you the country's minumum requirement (3rd party) for free. If you need cover for longer it will cost you quite a bit more, as I've recently discovered. My normal insurance is about £300, for extended european travel with AXA I've been quoted £800......ouch!
