Exhaust back box....snapped peg.

Many moons ago I stupidly bought a brand new rear exhaust box because a peg had snapped off and it wasn't supported correctly in the rubber mount. This cost a fair amount at the time and I recently noticed that my latest A2 was suffering from a similar issue. (Is this a problem on the 90,s ?). Rather than buy new i visited a recommended welder....a nice friendly fella called Bob Hope at Archway Autos in Wakefield. (No affiliation and my first visit). The peg was welded in no time back onto the exhaust and the cost was £5 cash. It was like going back in time and well worth the visit.
