Car is running as good as always but the glow plug light has started to flash. Any ideas? Themanual just says get it looked at.

Good suggestions thank you. Checked today and brake lights are not working. The fuse is good. Should I check the bulbs next as neither is working? Or is it more likely the switch? If so where is it?
My brake light switch was intermittently faulty and this was the symptom. Glow plug.
I put some contact cleaner on and pulled it in and out a few times and then reseated it so that there was a small amount of pedal travel before the plunger was touched and Bingo! I still have the new one to fit but it’s been okay for four months so far from that quick fix.

@CreweAudi can supply a genuine one for £26 delivered FYI. Pain the backside but simple job. Do try removing and agitating the plunger though as worked as a temporary fix whilst I waited for mine.Hi all.
Chalk up another driver with flashing glow plug light on dash. Just scanned car, and yes another Brake switch fault.

A2 is parked up in garage until new switch arrives.@CreweAudi can supply a genuine one for £26 delivered FYI. Pain the backside but simple job.
